Susan Egan - Literacy Teacher/Coach This school year,  2007 - 2008,  I am working as a Literacy teacher and a Literacy Coach. As a Literacy teacher, I work with Susan Kosel in her grades 1 - 3 classroom and Amy Barnes in her grades 4, 5, and 6 classroom. Along with each classroom teacher and English Language Learner teacher we are teaching reading collaboratively as a team using the Reader's Workshop model presently implemented by the St. Paul Public Schools. As a Literacy Coach, I am a resource at Nokomis for all teachers with a focus on Literacy. I will support all teachers through discussion, materials, classroom modeling, and training. This is an exciting year and everyone at Nokomis is off to a great start.
