Welcome to ELL Web Page Nokomis ELL Team services ELL students through effective collaboration with classroom teachers and literacy teachers during the Reader's and Writer's Workshops. All ELL teachers have been trained in the Reader's and Writer's Workshop models. The ELL Team focus is on parent and family involvement.  The 2007/2008 Nokomis ELL Teachers are Julie Landswerk, Ela Murphy,  Chivouayi Lo, and Ham Fonfana.  Joseph Xiong is our ELL Educational Assistant. Hmong CLAnD The six week fall session for Hmong CLAnD starts on October 2nd and ends November 6th.  Hmong literacy, arts & culture, and dance classes are offered on Tuesdays and was made possible through the Wellstone Grant.  Currently, dance class is full.  If interested in teaching CLAnD, please contact one of the ELL teachers.
