It has good facts about guinea pigs and how to take care of a guinea pig. Did you know that guinea pigs were first brought to Europe about four hundred years ago by Spanish sailors from a country in South America called "Dutch Guinea"?
So that's why they're called Guinea Pigs. Did you know that they're born with hair on them? They come in lots of different colors. You can check out this book in the animal section of the library.
