|  |  |  | | Discovery Club |  | Discovery Club is Saint Paul Public Schools year-round, fee-based, before and after school program for children in kindergarten through 6th grade. Discovery Club provides a safe, fun, accepting environment supervised by skilled consistent staff members with a genuine liking and respect for children.
Children participate in a wide variety of academic enrichment, recreational and cultural activities that informally support learning and social development.
School year program Discovery club operates Monday through Friday through out the school year except on legal holidays. Discovery Club has three components:
Before School- 6:30 a.m. until start of school
After School- from the school day until 6:00 p.m.
Extended Kindergarten- from the beginning of the school day until afternoon kindergarten starts of from the end of morning kindergarten until the end of the school day.
Eligibility and Transportation
Discovery Club is only available to children who are students of Saint Paul Public Schools (Independent School District #625). Registrations are accepted on a first come, first served basis wit preference given for full-time enrollment and to students attending a Discovery Club sites (Call the Discovery Club Administration Office for a list of feeder schools). Parents must transport their children at the beginning and end of the program day.
